At Smartbox, we create assistive technology that helps people communicate, and as a Production Technician, you’ll play a key part in bringing these products to life.
You’ll assemble and prepare devices within a supportive team environment focused on high‑quality outcomes. You’ll work with innovative technology, contribute to continuous improvements, and help us develop more sustainable ways of working. For those who enjoy hands‑on problem‑solving, this role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on people’s lives.
Purpose of the Role
In this role, you’ll assemble and configure our devices, make sure everything works perfectly through testing and quality checks, and play a key part in getting products ready for our users. Collaboration is central to this role; you’ll work closely with colleagues across Production, Quality, Stores, and Customer Operations, supporting a strong One Team culture built on accuracy, care, and pride. Our products directly support people with disabilities, so every device you build truly matters.
You’ll also have the chance to get involved in improving how we work, suggesting ideas that make our processes safer, smoother, and more efficient. Alongside this, you’ll help maintain high standards in quality, safety, data protection, and sustainability.
If you enjoy practical work, solving problems, and being part of a mission‑driven organisation, this role offers a meaningful opportunity to make a real difference.
